So here it is, my Boston Marathon training plan. I decided to go back to my basics and focus on running and long distances. While I may add some crosstraining back into the schedule if my body needs it (i.e. weird pain or injury), this training plan led me to run my fastest marathon and to qualify for Boston, so I’m sticking with it
I’m also debating running a half marathon in late January and will keep looking for races throughout the winter, although in Chicago they are few and far between in the cold months.

I’m also planning on posting my long-run splits every Sunday to keep a record of this journey. The Boston Marathon has been a goal of mine forever and I am so excited to start training for it– it means its actually happening!
