Hey guys, just checking in for a quick sec because I have some major recovery to do!

The race this morning went well! Despite walking A LOT yesterday, I crossed the start line feeling fresh and ready to run. Of course, no race is ever perfect, but I felt pretty good and tried to ignore any lingering stomach pain (I’m almost better) and the fact that I had to pee from the start.

I tried to run at a comfortable pace and made sure that I was running slow enough that I could hold a casual conversation. I ended up finishing in 1:43:45 (course was a bit long) and am hoping that after a really relaxing day, my legs won’t be too tight when the marathon starts tomorrow morning!

I plan to do a more formal race review/recap later but given our weak Internet connection, I’m going to keep this short.
